Sunday Snack – Kanu Double Shot Latte and Sheila G’s Salted Caramel Brownie Brittle

Another Sunday afternoon at home, and time for another snack! I recently posted about Kanu Signature Dark Roast, and this time I decided to give their Double Shot Latte a try.

I had recently done some shopping on IHerb, a company that generally sells healthy food and supplements from the USA. I have been a long-time customer, as they are a great place to get delicious spices and some other groceries for a reasonable price. One of the snacks I bought this time was a product by a company called Sheila G’s. The item is Salted Caramel Brownie Brittle.

The Kanu Double Shot Latte, like many of their other products, comes in a variety of box sizes. When I bought this, I had purchased the 10-pack size.

The packages were of a similar size to some of the Kanu Products that I had tried earlier, but larger than the Signature Dark Roast packages.

From a look at the outside of the box, the Kanu Double Shot Latte is supposed to be a medium roast, which means that it shouldn’t be too bitter or acidic.

After opening the package, I selected one, and poured the contents into my mug cup. It seemed like there was a lot of creamer in the package compared to coffee, which made me wonder if it was really a double shot of coffee as labeled.

After adding the water and watching the coffee swirl around, a nice aroma was pleasant. The coffee scent wasn’t too strong, but the drink did smell nice.

After a few sips, it tasted stronger than I first thought it would. There was a nice mellow coffee flavor, and while there was too much powdered milk or creamer, it was a nice drink. There was no sugar in it that I could tell, which made it less sweet than many of the other Kanu drinks that I have tried.

Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle comes in a nice colorful package. The Salted Caramel variety had a nice orange hue to it, I assume to match the caramel in the product.

The package is 142 grams, and after opening it, there looked to be a substantial amount of the snack inside.

While some of the pieces were broken, many of them were still whole squares.

If you look closely at the Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle, you can see little flakes of salt on the top of it, plus some caramel pieces.

The snack itself is quite delicious. It really does taste a lot like a brownie, and the salt is easy to notice, especially if you lick the top of it before crunching away. It has a nice crispiness to it, and the chocolate flavor is wonderful.

Together the Kanu Double Shot Latte and Sheila G’s Salted Caramel Brownie Brittle made for a very nice Sunday afternoon snack!
