Sometimes you just don't have the time to sit down and have a slow relaxing conversation with a delicious cup of coffee. It's times like this when we can be thankful for the plethora of different on-the-go coffee and beverage options.
Made by the Namyang Corporation under their French Cafe line, these quick lattes come in 250ml and 320ml sizes. While taking a trip to see my mother, I decided to pick up these 3 different flavors and give them a try.
The first one I tried was the Black Sesame Latte. The coffee is a nice blend of Brazilian and Colombian beans, and the black sesame seeds mixed in added a nutty, almost peanut-like, flavor. It was a touch grainy, but had a nice sweetness to it. It was also the most calorie dense of three, coming in at 280 calories.
Next was the Choux Cream Latte. In Korea choux-cream is similar to a thick custard and is quite sweet. This Guatemalan and Brazilian blend was tad more bitter than the Black Sesame one, but there was a nice hint of Irish cream in the mixture. This one was a little lighter, with only 237 calories.
The final one was the Mont Blanc Latte. This one is also a blend of Guatemalan and Brazilian beans and was the least sweet of the three. This one had a slight mixture of cherry and chestnut flavors included in the mixture. I liked this one the best as it was not over powering and had the best coffee flavors of the trio. The Mont Blanc matches the Choux Cream Latte with 237 calories.
I would recommend all of these depending on your personal taste and preference for a quick pick-em-up on the go! I can't wait to try all of the other flavors and styles that they have and let you know what they are like!
